14th Run for the Hills! 5K
Over 225 participants -- some pushing strollers, some pulled by their dogs -- completed the annual Forest Hill 5K this Saturday. We were blessed with great weather, hard-working volunteers, hundreds of award-winning bagels from Baltik's, enthusiastic cheer stations, and no emergencies. Next FHNA Meeting — Tuesday, March 17
(Forest Hill Presbyterian Church, 7 PM)
On the third Tuesday of each month we gather at Forest Hill Presbyterian Church for updates from our City Council rep, the Richmond Police Department, and others. At this month's meeting we will learn the latest on the RPS budget from School Board rep Wesley Hedgepeth; consider requests for funding from Westover Hills Elementary PTA and a local nonprofit; and hear from the City of Richmond's Code Enforcement Division. We look forward to seeing you there!
Two Forest Hill Presbyterian Church Listening Sessions: March 23 and March 27 (Forest Hill Presbyterian Church, 7-8:30 PM)
The Administrative Commission of Forest Hill Presbyterian Church, along with The Presbytery of the James, seeks community input on the future of its building and grounds. All Forest Hill residents are invited to attend one of two Community Listening Sessions this month. You are also encouraged to share your feedback through this brief survey or connect via the Forest Hill Presbyterian Church website.
Coming Soon to Former Family Dollar in Forest Hill
Richmond BizSense reports that the reinvented Family Dollar at 1202 Westover Hills Boulevard has its first confirmed tenant: Burn Boot Camp. This will be the national fitness chain's eighth location in the Richmond area. It will be operated by Elyse Reynolds, who owns the Burn Boot Camp in western Henrico, along with Anna Miller and Rebecca Craft, who co-own the chain's Atlee location. They expect to lease about 5,000 square feet. Another health-related business offering physical therapy and pilates classes is also slated to lease space in the renovated facility.
Need Help Catching Up on Water and Gas Bills?
Richmond's Department of Public Utilities is offering limited-time assistance through its Back on Track with DPU program. This program enables City residents to reset past-due balances, set up flexible payment plans via PromisePay, and avoid service disconnection. Deadline for enrollment is March 31. Bingo, Beats, and Safer Streets — Thursday, April 9

In collaboration with the Office of Gun Violence Prevention and the Richmond Police Department, the Department of Neighborhood and Community Services is hosting this event to help residents learn more about community safety resources. Enjoy a fun afternoon with bingo games, music, safety tips, and community updates in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
