On the third Tuesday of each month we gather for updates from Councilmember Sarah Abubaker and other City representatives. This month we will get an update on Draft Three of Code Refresh from Marianne Pitts, Senior Deputy Director for Planning & Policy. We will also share info about the new mixed-use building going up on Forest Hill Avenue beside Riverside Tavern. Come join the conversation!

Run for the Hills 5K Race

Join us for the Forest Hill 5K Fun Run on March 14th, 2026! This annual event has been a beloved, neighborhood tradition for over 16 years. It offers a great opportunity to get active, have fun, and explore Forest Hill Park and our beautiful neighborhood. Whether you’re walking or running, it’s a laid-back, family-friendly event that supports the Forest Hill Neighborhood Association and its ongoing activities.
Bring your friends and family for a morning out in the neighborhood! Register before March 1st to guarantee a long-sleeved t-shirt.
Can’t wait to see all the movers and shakers in the park. We’re running on March 14th!!!!!!!
Holiday Party & Food Drive
The Forest Hill Neighborhood Association invites you to celebrate the holidays at Gramophone and to help keep Central Virginia fed this holiday season!
Please consider making a donation to Feed More through our FHNA team page. Direct donations allow Feed More to leverage their extensive buying power to make an even bigger impact than food donations. Every dollar provides four meals to those in need! We will also collect non-perishable items at the event.

At the event, we'll have a few appetizers on hand, but neighbors are also welcome to bring a favorite holiday treat to share.
Each active FHNA membership will receive one free drink ticket. Wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase from Gramophone.
