NEW for 2025 – Prizes for 3 Young Runner Groups 

A new twist for our younger runners. Prizes for 2025 will be awarded in three age groups: White, ages 9 and under; Blue, ages 10 to 14; and Green, ages 15 to 18.  At check-in, fashion a wristband by twisting pipe cleaners from your color group around your wrist (parents are encouraged to help). Our spotters will look for the first wristband to cross the finish line in each group.

2nd Annual Best Dressed Dog Contest

Submit a Best Dressed Dog Contest form if you are running and plan to enter your dog in the contest.  Look for the photo booth before the run begins on the 15th and let us snap a pic to complete your entry.  Prize for best-dressed dog will be awarded at the end of the run.

Event

Join us for the Forest Hill 5K Fun Run on March 15th, 2025! This annual event has been a beloved, neighborhood tradition for over 15 years. It offers a great opportunity to get active, have fun, and explore Forest Hill Park and our beautiful neighborhood. Whether you’re walking or running, it’s a laid-back, family-friendly event that supports the Forest Hill Neighborhood Association and its ongoing activities.

Runners who submit an online registration before March 7th can pick up their long-sleeved t-shirt at packet-pickup.

Can’t wait to see all the movers and shakers in the park. We’re running on March 15th come RAIN or SHINE!

Event details and schedule

When: Saturday March 15th from 9AM to 11AM

Where:

• Run starts and finishes at the Stone House in Forest Hill Park (4021 Forest Hill Ave 23225)
• There will be course markers and volunteers along the route directing runners

Cost:  $25.00 + processing fee

Packet Pick-up / Walk-up Registration: at the Stone House

• Friday 3/14 from 4PM – 6:30PM
• Saturday 3/15 from 8AM – 9AM

Parking:

The circle drive around the Stone House will be closed to vehicles. Park in the main lot at 42nd St or on one of the streets in the neighborhood. Please be mindful of the residents who live there. They are our neighbors and friends.
