August gets even hotter when Brooklyn and New Jersey’s King Django graces the stage at MITP! Having played with and mentored such bands as The Slackers, The Toasters, Rancid, and Murphy’s Law, King Django brings a decidedly mellow take on the classic Jamaican sounds of Ska, Rocksteady, and Reggae. Bandleader Jeff Baker owns Stubborn City Records and is the main instigator of the Version City Tours bringing the traditional sounds of Jamaica to audiences the world over.
