Neighborhood Association

There are plans to convert the Mercedes Repair shop (46th and Forest Hill) to a fast food restaurant that will serve pizza and ice cream.  The restaurant will not be eat-in.

The Forest Hill Neighborhood Association is seeking input on how residents feel about this new business so that we may communicate effectively with both the business owner and city officials.  Let us know how you feel by taking the poll below.

Music in the Park going on now through October, one Sunday each month!

Historic Forest Hill Neighborhood: The FHNA will donate $5,000 to help get our neighborhood on the National Register!  If you enjoy the history of the homes in Forest Hill, please consider volunteering to help.  Contact Carolyn Paulette at cmp4312@yahoo.com.

Join the Forest Hill Neighborhood Association!  We meet
the second Wednesday of each month, 7:00pm, Forest Hill Presbyterian Church.  Our meetings are fun, friendly and informative.  We are always looking for new folks who'd like to be more involved in the neighborhood, from helping to plan events to being a part of neighborhood watch to exploring our neighborhood's history.  (One hour a month is time well-spent.)

Patrick Henry School of Sciences & Arts: This will be one of the biggest improvements our neighborhood has seen in decades.  Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks, from stuffing envelopes to chairing a committee.  This can take as little as an hour or two a week.  Please help if you can!

Hills and Heights
is a great source for all the news affecting our neighborhood and the near-Southside area (Forest Hill, Woodland Heights, Westover Hills, Forest View Heights, Springhill, Reedy Creek and Stratford Hills).
